Kathleen King is a Bay Area artist whose work explores fluid states of being. Spontaneous and improvised, these paintings and drawings are composed using an abstract language of tangled line and shape, calligraphic gesture, and vibrant color. As these elements interact--floating, interpenetrating, overlapping--an emotional landscape is charted.
